The first thing to check is . If you have done your masters and that too from a university , which are not reputed/ bad / have a bad history ,
The following questions may not help you .
Most of the univerisities , which offer masters degree , and have been black listed ,should be avoided.
I am not mentioning the names of the univeristies here ... so just please research , ask your friends and colleagues about those universities
or , just google . you will hear lots of stories.
Some of those universities have been shut down.
Please do your masters from a reputed University , else , please dont do.
1) have all the pay stubs available
2) Your LCA { you will get this from our employer } and your pay stub should have the same location as the place of work.
3) If the place of work in LCA is not matching your pay stub, you need to request an amendment.
4) Also your tax filing location should match this
5) This location of work is validated many places { consulate and port of entry }
6) They check this , to make sure , you are authorized to work , at the respective place .
7) They will ask your place of stay
8) What is your home address ?
9) How do you commute to work ?
10) How long does it take to go to work ?
11) Your Drivers License
12) Your OPT EAD card { this might be very old , but make sure ,you have it
13) Always carry a pen with you { this might seem silly , but have a pen in your documents folder .
14) Dont miss any documents
15) Have an answer ready , for everything
16) Reharse , reharse , reharse - i would not advise to go to the consulate , with out any preperation.
17) Practise with friends
18) Location - address of your employer
19) Location of the client
20) Model { EVC/ Direct client / EVVC . etc .. etc }
21) Again , please take all the documents
22) H1b Originals { You will get this once your h1b is approved. {I797 / H1b Copy , both mean the same
23) LCA - This is provided by your employer on request.
24) I129 / H1b filing document - They will check this , to make sure , you are working in the same location.
Again , They will compare this with , your LCA , Pay stubs , W2 .. etc .etc.
25) Make sure , you have all the addresses correct and right
26) Remember all the addresses .

27) What is your annual pay - They will compare this with your LCA { Your LCA will have this amount specified in it }
28) They will ask your monthly pay , and verify with your pay stub
29) The amount of money is the pay stub could always be more , but never less.
30) If it is more , then the reason is - you have a fixed income , but with a varying bonus based on performance
31) How is the bonus evaluated ?
We have a performance evaluating team .
They will evaluate the performance every quarter.
32) How do you communicate with your employer ?
We have kick off meetings every monday , where my employer assigns me the work.
Every thursday , we have status meetings , where we update the status of the work
33) How do you speak , with your employer , if there is an issue , or if you need any assistance ?
I would send an email and also try to call , and inform about the issue and would seek assistance.

34) Who directs the project ?
My Client directs the project.
My employer gets the requirements from my client and my employer assigns me work.
35) Which university did you graduate from ?
36) Why did you choose this university ?
Memorize some courses and say , you have the best professors available for those courses and it relates to your area of intrest.
Say , you were intrested in particular courses ... and the professors and the course work at that university was excellent and streamlined.
37) Single / married ?
38) If you have changed any employers in past couple of years ... let them know the reason.
Say , you did not have enough oppurtunities to excel your skills so , loked for a better oppurtunity.
39) Is your employer paying you on time ?
Yes
40) Always be confident.
41) Let the answeres be spontaneous.. this comes .. only if you have reharsed the answeres and all the scenarious.
42) There will be lot of rejections.. in the consulate , for other visitors / other categories, which may make you nervous.

44) Always be prepared with the answere like, what you did till now in US
45) The time periods , how long masters
46) how long OPT
47) How long H1b ?
48) How long with current employer ?
49) How long with current client ?
50) What is your role ?
Check your offer letter / LCA / Employer letter for this .
They will check all of this , and check if you have the same role specified .
Also mention the same role.
51) Just be sure about your role.
52) Most of us are programmer/analyst , Check your LCA for this.
53) have this role as the same in all the places.
54) Most of the time , if many people are getting visas , then it is pure luck to go to the right officer , to get the visa.
55) It is clearly known , and everyone knows that , we will apply for a green card , but , we should no where give a hint / mention about our
intent to immigrate.
56) When are you returning back to your country - The date till your H1 is valid
